We’re driving overland across 10,000 miles from Ireland to Mongolia for charity starting this July.
We’ll pass through mainland Europe, Central Asia, Russia and on to the capital of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar.

It will take us 6 weeks to get there passing over 20 countries and 56 packets of noodles.
We’ll keep track of the preparations for the trip and our journey along the way.
All this in a yellow Toyota Liteace. The mothers are proud.

Hi
Every good wish for your trip. have been to mongolia and really loved it. amazing country and people. Ulan is disappointing, very run down, health and safety is not an issue there! Roads horrible but scenery unbelievable. great collection of old railway (trans Siberian) engines near station. Will follow trip with interest, specially Iran……

Good luck for your trip. I have never been to Ireland before. But I was working with an Irish lady sometime in the past. She likes to drink Mongolian beers, and smoke cigarettes, which she found “God damn cheaper than Dublin” here. some good irish pubs here serve with irish beer, i can’t remember of its name. what you guys gonna do with this van after leave Mongolia? Anyway enjoy your trip.

Hey everybody! We’re in Iran but cant seem to access our wordpress account to update the site
But we’re here anyway and the people are lovely, we’ve had a few people stop their cars and walk over to us to say ‘Welcome to Iran’. Pretty cool. But its also really hot at the same time…think its around 40 degrees.
Liteace is running well no hassle so far…fingers crossed.
Heading to Turkmenistan tomorrow. Will update fully if possible there!!
